As a faculty member at the Corporate Governance Institute and educator with Duke Corporate Education, Ruth brings a wealth of expertise to her role. She has served as a key constituent of the Secretariat Team at Centrica plc. and is a trusted advisor to senior executives transitioning into NED roles through her work with the NED Network Advisory Board. Ruth’s board-level expertise is complemented by her leadership within the TIDE Taskforce and her active involvement in community-driven trustee roles. With a master’s degree in law and a passion for shaping future NEDs, Ruth is uniquely positioned to guide and empower aspiring NEDs across the programme.

Sue Turner OBE is a distinguished Non-Executive Director, celebrated for her pioneering expertise in AI governance and ethical leadership. As the founding director of AI Governance Limited, she draws on her deep cross-sector experience in financial services, logistics, and non-profits to deliver invaluable guidance on integrating AI and data science into corporate governance. Her prominent board positions include serving as a Non-Executive Director at Cornish Mutual and Chair of the Board of Directors at North Somerset Environment Company Ltd. Recognised with an OBE in 2021 for her dedication to social justice and diversity, Sue excels at steering organisations through technological and ethical change, making her an outstanding programme facilitator.
