Built with flexibility at the heart, the Certified Coach Programme is tailor-made for today’s busy professionals.

Learners will complete the six mandatory modules (providing your essential skills and coaching fundamentals) and choose a minimum of three and a maximum of five dynamic elective modules, participating as your schedules demand, to build the exact career you envision.

Structure & Assessment

Induction

To get started on your certification journey, first select your preferred enrolment date. Next, schedule your certification welcome call to kick things off.

Once that's done, you'll gain access to your Learning Management System and be assigned your personal Qualification Support Agent. Your agent will then assist you in booking your selected module dates, ensuring a smooth pathway on your certification journey.

Module Delivery

All mandatory modules are delivered through a series of 1-day virtual workshops with your leading Coach Facilitator, and take a cohort format.

Elective modules may be undertaken flexibly and are delivered via 1/2 day virtual workshop, allowing you to choose your participation from a selection of delivery dates and times.

Assessment Structure

- Undertake a written assignment
- Develop a Coaching Portfolio of a minimum of 2, and a maximum of 3, pro bono clients, undertaking a specified number of pro bono coaching hours
- Develop a reflective journey

Graduation

Upon completing your programme, you will receive an invitation to your graduation event and certification presentation, celebrating alongside your fellow graduates.

At this event, you will be awarded your physical ILM certificate, along with your digital programme certificate and digital credentials, enabling you to showcase your achievement as an Accredited, Certified Coach.

Your Certified Accredited Coach status provides you with your licensed credentials and alumni membership access to continuous learning and professional development through your Learning Portal, in addition to:

 

6 x 1-hour Group Supervision Sessions

Supervision sessions with a Coach Supervisor are essential to maintaining professional competency and quality as a practicing coach. These sessions provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for coaches to reflect on and develop their techniques, in addition to addressing any ethical issues or blind spots you may encounter.

Certified Coach credentials may only be held by those who have both an active alumni membership, renewable at £499+vat per annum, and are in their first year post-graduation or can evidence that they are demonstrating their ongoing commitment to their role.
